Pai is a small hippie village in the northwest of Thailand and is famous for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Just the drive from Chiang Mai to Pai is a reason to visit. 

You have explored the village itself within half a day, but you can safely take a few days to explore the area. The real highlights are outside the village such as Pai Canyon, Yun Lai Viewpoint, waterfalls, hot springs and the Lod Cave.

Are you into history, architecture and culture? Then this is the tour for you! The Sukhothai Historical Park are the ruins of the first capital of Siam, the Kingdom of Sukhothai, and are one of Thailand's most impressive sites. It is the birthplace of Thai art, architecture and language.

Cars are no longer allowed to explore the ruins. So most tourists take a bicycle tour but if cycling is not your thing there are also electric tuktuks available.
